As an American, we have lots of restrictions on what we could buy or where we can buy crypto. There are a few exchanges that Americans can use to buy/sell CEL such as IDEX and Switcheo. The thing is, there is not a lot of liquidity on those exchanges. The best one would be Liquid but we Americans can't use it. Right?

What if I told you you can buy CEL from Liquid even as an American? Well, have no fear!! Since Liquid does not check for proof of residency or KYC unless you manage more than $2000 per day, you can create an account and simply put your country of residency in a different country where it is allowed to buy/sell crypto.

Don't believe me? I have been using Liquid for the past 3 months as an American with no VPN or anything. Unless I am going to to trade $2000 or more per day, Liquid does not care to check for KYC or proof of residency.

There you have it folks!!! Time to create more liquidity and get more CEL. GET THOSE CEL NUMBERS UP!!!

They only check if you deal more than $2000 per day. If not, you can keep your basic account with KYC meaning Americans can use it!

Very cool, RVG! Would be nice if someone tries it. And I love loopholes! Clever people like you always find those! hehe

I'm using it myself and I'm American. Just choose a different country other than the US and you're set!

It must have changed to where this no longer works. It says I have to send ID to do anything.
